Anna's Wild Yam Cream ~

Our order just came in! So for those of you that have been waiting you may order yours today!

Here is some information about Anna's Wild Yam Cream ~

The active ingredient of wild yam is Diosgenin, an Unsaponifiable Steroid, a lipid similar to cholesterol, it is our understanding based on the above experience that either Diosgenin may precede cholesterol, or that the enzyme Esterase recognises and catalyses the Diosgenins conversion to the to cholesterol through to Pregnenolone.
As can be verified in any scientific text on steroidal hormones, Pregnenolone initiates the complex multi pathways of the Adrenal Cortex Steroids, commonly referred to as the gender or reproductive steroids – however their physiological role is far greater than just our reproductive functions with a broad spectrum of health benefits.

A powerful quote ~

Nothing is apparently more helpless, yet really more invincible, than the soul that feels its nothingness and relies wholly on the merits of the Saviour. God would send every angel in heaven to the aid of such a one, rather than allow him to be overcome.  {7T 17.3}

Read & ponder ~

"For Christ to change or abolish the Sabbath would be to destroy that which calls to mind His Divinity. If Christ had abolished the Sabbath, He would have undone the work of His own hands, and thus have worked against Himself; and a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. But Christ "cannot deny Himself," and therefore He did not change one jot of that which He Himself appointed, and which, by testifying to His Divinity, shows Him to be worthy of honor above all the gods of the heathen. It would have been as impossible for Christ to change the Sabbath as it would have been to change the fact that He created all things in six days, and rested on the seventh."

A promise ~

"The same power that was put forth to create the worlds is put forth for the sanctification of those who yield themselves to the will of God."

Molluscum Contagiosum ~

My poor little niece has Molluscum Contagiosum and my sister called us asking what do to for it. We didn't know exactly what to do and suggested that she put the Fungal Treatment on it and see what would happen.
She followed our advice and guess what?! It worked! She found that if she applies it every day that the new ones will go away quickly without bursting and even the older ones will heal and disappear quicker and easier than normal.

A Quote to Ponder ~

When Jesus came to this world, he found it in a deplorable state of sin and rebellion. He did not move far away from this rebellious multitude, but he came and dwelt among them. Because iniquity abounded, he came close to man in sympathy and tender, pitying love. In Christ dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; yet he came to earth to be one with the oppressed, the poor, the needy; he came to demonstrate how much a God can love, a Saviour suffer, in order to save men from perdition, and bring eternal life within their reach. ~ RH September 29, 1891

Of Bible Verses & a Rose ~

The other week while we were having worship we asked Nalani to say her memory verse, she very happily started reciting it and then kept going, and going, and going until she had said the whole chapter. Praise the Lord! He has given her an amazing mind. Each morning she listens to the Bible for her morning quiet-time and it's amazing how much of the Bible the Lord has put into her mind, we are amazed at how the Lord is blessing our sweet little one.

Then she gave me quite the surprise. She and dad went to the store and were running errands, which she loves to do, and when she came home she ran into the door with a big smile on her face and her hands behind her back. The precious little one bought me a beautiful pink rose. It was so special for her to have done that. I am so blessed to have a little sister like her. :)

A thought from the story of Jonah ~

Today as we were driving home from spending some wonderful time with my brother, sister-in-law and my precious little nieces we were talking about who we are looking forward to meeting in heaven. We all mentioned different names and then as I was thinking about all the different Bible characters Jonah popped in my mind.
Oh I'd like to meet Jonah to see what it was like to be in the belly of a fish for three days. As I was pondering that I realized, wow! God went through a lot to reach Jonah! I mean seriously, God didn't just let Jonah sail away, He ran after him, pursued him. God loved Jonah so much, and the people of Ninevah that He got a big fish to come swallow him because He knew that's what it would take for Jonah to surrender to the Lord's will. Wow! What a thought!
We have a God that loves us too much to just let us go. He will and is going to all measures to woo us to Him.
Now on the other side…let's not be like Jonah and have it take being swallowed by a fish and sitting there for three long days to surrender our wills to the Lord and His calling for us! :) Jonah had a lot of thinking time…and sometimes God will allow circumstances to occur to get us to think long and hard about our life, direction, choices, decisions and where we are with Him.

A Picture of us Receiving Christ's Righteousness ~

Let the reader try to picture the scene. Here stands the law as the swift witness against the sinner. It cannot change, and it will not call a sinner a righteous man. The convicted sinner tries again and again to obtain righteousness from the law, but it resists all his advances. It cannot be bribed by any amount of penance or professedly good deeds. But here stands Christ, "full of grace" as well as of truth, calling the sinner to Him. At last the sinner, weary of the vain struggle to get righteousness from the law, listens to the voice of Christ, and flees to His outstretched arms. Hiding in Christ, he is covered with His righteousness; and now behold! he has obtained, through faith in Christ, that for which he has been vainly striving. He has the righteousness which the law requires, and it is the genuine article, because he obtained it from the Source of Righteousness; from the very place whence the law came. And the law witnesses to the genuineness of this righteousness. It says that so long as the man retains that, it will go into court and defend him against all accusers. It will witness to the fact that he is a righteous man. With the righteousness which is "through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith" (Phil. 3:9), Paul was sure that he would stand secure in the day of Christ.

There is in the transaction no ground for finding fault. God is just, and at the same time the Justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. In Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead; He is equal with the Father in every attribute. Consequently the redemption that is in Him—the ability to buy back lost man—is infinite. Man's rebellion is against the Son as much as against the Father, since both are one. Therefore, when Christ "gave Himself for our sins," it was the King suffering for the rebellious subjects—the One injured passing by, overlooking, the offense of the offender. No skeptic will deny that any man has the right and privilege of pardoning any offense committed against himself; then why cavil when God exercises the same right? Surely if He wishes to pardon the injury done Himself, He has the right; and more because He vindicates the integrity of His law, by submitting in His own Person to the penalty which was due the sinner. "But the innocent suffered for the guilty." True; but the innocent Sufferer "gave himself" voluntarily, in order that He might in justice to His government do what His love prompted, namely, pass by the injury done to Himself as the Ruler of the universe.

Now read God's own statement of His own Name—a statement given in the face of one of the worst cases of contempt ever shown Him:
"And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name of the Lord. And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty." Ex. 34:5-7.

This is God's Name; it is the character in which He reveals Himself to man; the light in which He wishes men to regard Him. But what of the declaration that He "will by no means clear the guilty"? That is perfectly in keeping with His long-suffering, abundant goodness, and His passing by the transgression of His people. It is true that God will by no means clear the guilty; He could not do that and still be a just God. But He does something which is far better: He18 removes the guilt, so that the one formerly guilty does not need to be cleared,—he is justified, and counted as though he never had sinned.

Waiting… ~

After some time of wondering if I could possibly have Lyme's disease I decided to get tested. How could I have it, you might ask…well, the doctor is thinking that my mom might have had it for 20-30 years and my life fits in the middle of that number. I do have one of the strange symptoms of it, so to get a clear answer we decided it'd be best just to get tested.
For the past week I've taken hot baths every night, other than when I was sick and had a fever, to try and kill any possible spirochetes and therefore get an accurate result. One of my biggest fears in life is…needles, getting my blood drawn is something very scary to me. I know, with being a nurse you wouldn't think that would be the case, but it is. So it took a lot to get tested since it meant having to get my blood drawn. Yet, praise the Lord! She got it in one poke and I didn't black out this time! It did hurt quite bad but it's over!
Now I get to wait for 10 days to get the results. Oh, how I'm praying that I don't have Lyme's, yet if I do I'd rather know. It's in the Lord's hands.

A Merciful Act ~

"After the transgression of Adam, God might have destroyed every opening bud and blooming flower, or He might have taken away their fragrance, so grateful to the senses. In the earth seared and marred by the curse, in the briers, the thistles, the thorns, the tares, we may read the law of condemnation; but in the delicate color and perfume of the flowers, we may learn that God still loves us, that His mercy is not wholly withdrawn from the earth." Mom's Update ~

Lyme's = a whole bunch of confusion and mystery

It affects everyone differently and so many people have their own "cure" for it. So trying to figure out what is best to do and when is quite a task.

The last week has been really hard. We appreciate all of your prayers.

We spoke to a very kind pastor this past week and there was a suggestion to drink salt water and take high doses of Vit C. Well, I tried one day of giving my mom salt water and her head started hurting and feeling weird: my thought…it's working! Her's…I don't want to do this anymore. It's so hard to know what to do!

We are still taking the supplements that we started four months ago. it's just hard to know if things are helping or not.

Sleep is something that my mom really needs yet the Lyme's causes insomnia, so please pray that she can get some sleep.

I'm going to get tested this week for Lyme's. Since they think my mom has had it for so long they are thinking that it's possible for us kids to have it.

Thank you…
